Ashford FA
Concrete Hardener & Finishing Aid

Ashford FA is an advanced finishing aid designed to tackle the unique challenges posed by low-carbon and GUL concrete, while also excelling on traditional OPC mixes. Applied during the floating and trowelling stages, it enhances workability, reduces stickiness, and prepares the surface for optimal densification with Ashford Formula.

// Key Benefits
  • Eliminates GUL stickiness — makes finishing faster and easier
  • Extends working time in high wind and high heat conditions
  • Promotes better curing and reduced curling
  • Delivers a smooth, tight finish with enhanced abrasion resistance
  • Fully compatible with Ashford Formula and RetroPlate
  • Zero VOC — jobsite and environmentally friendly

Ashford Formula
The Original Concrete Densifier — Since 1949

Ashford Formula is a transparent, chemically reactive, water-based treatment that penetrates concrete permanently — curing, densifying, hardening, and dustproofing in a single application. It reacts with calcium hydroxide in the slab to form a crystalline structure that fills pores and voids, producing a floor that self-polishes with use and carries a 20-year warranty.

// Key Benefits
  • Permanent chemical reaction — not a surface coating
  • Hardens and densifies from within the concrete mass
  • Permanently eliminates concrete dusting
  • Increases abrasion and impact resistance
  • Clear — does not change the natural appearance of the slab
  • Zero VOC — USDA compliant, nontoxic, noncombustible
  • 20-year manufacturer warranty on dustproofing and hardening
